【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestestmethodsforthedeterminationofthedurabilityandhardnessofmattressesandalltypesoffullyerecteddomesticbedswithmattresses(andmattresspadswhentheyformaunitwiththemattress).Itdoesnotapplytowaterbeds,airbedsandchildrencots.Itincludesamethodforthedeterminationofthefirmnessratingofamattressorabedcorrelatingtothesubjectiveassessmentmadebypeople(seeannexA).Itmustbeemphasizedthatthefirmnessratingcannotbeusedtodemonstratecomfortand/orqualityofamattressoracompletebed.Ageinganddegradationcausedbyair,light,humidityandtemperaturearenotincluded.Thetestresultsareonlyvalidforthearticletested.Whentestresultsareintendedtobeappliedtoothersimilararticles,thetestspecimenshallberepresentativeofthem.
