【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9281specifiestheidentificationmethodsforcodingofpictorialinformationindigitalform.Itdoesnotspecifythecontentsofthedatafieldofapictureentity.Forinstance,thisfieldmayalsocontainaudioand/oranimationdataassociatedwiththedataspecifyingthepicture(s).ThispartofISO/IEC9281servesasabasisforanumberofstandards.Incombinationwithoneormoreofthose,pictorialinformationindigitalform,usingoneormoremethodsofcoding,maybebuiltupintoadocumentforvisualcomprehension.Graphiccharacterscodedinaccordancewithotherstandardscanalsobecombinedwiththepicturein-formation.Thecodedinformationfromsuchadocu-mentmaybeprocessed,andtransmittedbytelecommunicationssystems.ThispartofISO/IEC9281alsospecifiesatechniqueforswitchingbetweencharacter-codedinformationanddigitalpictorialinformation,andbetweendiffer-entpicturecodingmethods.
