【摘要】:ThistestmethodwasdevelopedforusebothbymanufacturersasaprocesscontroltoolfortheproductionofAZSfusion-castrefractories,andbyglassmanufacturersintheselectionofrefractoriesanddesignofglass-meltingfurnaces.TheresultsmaybeconsideredasrepresentativeofthepotentialforanAZSrefractory(specifically,inthetestedregion)tocontributetoglassdefectformationduringthefurnaceproductionoperation.Theproceduresandresultsmaybeappliedtootherrefractorytypesorapplications(thatis,reheatfurnaceskidrailbrick)inwhichglassexudationisconsideredtobeimportant.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforcausingtheexudationofaglassyphasetothesurfaceoffusion-castspecimensbysubjectingthemtotemperaturescorrespondingtoglassfurnaceoperatingtemperatures.1.2Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureformeasuringtheexudateasthepercentofvolumeincreaseofthespecimenaftercooling.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
