【摘要】:Thispracticedescribesgeneralproceduresformakingjointswithpolyolefinpipeandfittingsbymeansofelectrofusionjoiningtechniques.Theseshouldberegardedasgeneralproceduresandnotasasubstitutefortheinstallationproceduresspecifiedbythemanufacturers.Manufacturersshouldberequestedtosupplyspecificrecommendationsforjoiningtheirproducts.Note1-Referencetothemanufacturerinthispracticeisdefinedastheelectrofusionfittingmanufacturer.Thetechniquescoveredareapplicableonlytojoiningpolyolefinpipeandfittingsofrelatedpolymerchemistry,forexample,polyethylenestopolyethylenesusingapolyethyleneelectrofusionfitting.Consultthemanufacturersrecommendationsforcompatibilityoftheelectrofusionfittingwiththespecificpipeorfittingmaterialtobejoined.Theelectrofusionjoiningtechniquedescribedcanproducesoundjointsbetweenpolyolefinpipeandfittings,providedthatallproductsinvolved(thatis,pipeandfittings)meettheappropriateASTMspecifications.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO12217specifiesmethodsforevaluatingthestabilityandbuoyancyofintact(i.e.undamaged)boats.Theflotationcharacteristicsofboatsvulnerabletoswampingarealsoencompassed.TheevaluationofstabilityandbuoyancypropertiesusingthispartofISO12217willenabletheboattobeassignedtoadesigncategory(CorD)appropriatetoitsdesignandmaximumload.ThispartofISO12217isapplicabletoboatsofhulllengthlessthan6m,whetherpropelledbyhumanormechanicalpower,excepthabitablesailingmultihulls.Boatsofhulllengthlessthan6m,whicharefittedwithafulldeckandquick-drainingcockpit(s)complyingwithISO11812mayalternativelybeassessedusingISO12217-1orISO12217-2(fornon-sailingandsailingboatsrespectively),inwhichcasehigherdesigncategoriesmaybeassigned.
