【摘要】:Thespiralflowofathermosettingmoldingcompoundisameasureofthecombinedcharacteristicsoffusionunderpressure,meltviscosity,andgelationrateunderspecificconditions.Thistestmethodisusefulasaqualitycontroltestandasanacceptancecriterion.Thistestmethod,byitself,isnotavalidmeansforcomparingthemoldabilityofsimilarordifferentmoldingcompoundsbecauseitcannotduplicateactualconditionsprevalentindifferenttypesofproductionmolds.Thistestmethodispresentlyintendedforuseatatransferpressureof6.9MPa[1000psi]andamoldtemperatureof423x00B1;3K(150x00B1;3x00B0;C[302x00B1;5x00B0;F]).1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureformeasuringthespiralflowofthermosettingmoldingcompounds(softorverysoft)designedformoldingpressuresunder6.9MPa[1000psi].Itisespeciallysuitedforthosecompoundsthatmaybeusedforencapsulationorotherlowpressuremoldingtechniques.Textile-reinforcedcompoundsshouldnotbetestedusingthistestmethod.Itinvolvestheuseofastandardspiralflowmoldinatransfermoldingpressunderspecifiedconditionsofappliedtemperatureandpressurewithacontrolledchargemass.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThereisnoequivalentISOstandard.
