【摘要】:ISO18437-3:2005definesacantilevershearbeammethodfordeterminingfromlaboratorymeasurementsthedynamicmechanicalpropertiesoftheresilientmaterialsusedinvibrationisolators.Commonerrorsduetoclampingthespecimenareavoidedbyusingfixedendssothereisnorotationalmotionofthebeamatitsends.ThispartofISO18437isapplicabletoshockandvibrationsystemsoperatingfromafractionofahertztoabout20kHz.ISO18437-3:2005isapplicabletoresilientmaterialsthatareusedinvibrationisolatorsinordertoreduce--transmissionsofunwantedvibrationsfrommachines,structuresorvehiclesthatradiatesound(fluid-borne,airborne,structure-borne,orother),and--thetransmissionoflow-frequencyvibrationsthatactuponhumansorcausedamagetostructuresorsensitiveequipmentwhenthevibrationistoosevere.ThedataobtainedwiththemeasurementmethodsthatareoutlinedinISO18437-3:2005areusedfor--thedesignofefficientvibrationisolators,--theselectionofanoptimummaterialforagivendesign,--thetheoreticalcomputationofthetransferofvibrationsthroughisolators,--informationduringproductdevelopment,--productinformationprovidedbymanufacturersandsuppliers,and--qualitycontrol.

【摘要】:Itisknownthattheobservedeffectsofwindsimulatedinawind-tunnelapparatusarerelatedtotheeffectsobservedfromnaturalwind.Theresistanceoftilestosimulatedwindinthistestrelatestotheresistanceofthetilestotheeffectsofnaturalwindwhentheyareappliedtoaroof.Onefactorintheresistanceofthetilestotheeffectsofbothnaturalandsimulatedwindisthemethodofattachmentspecifiedinthemanufacturer''sinstructions.Thistestmethoddeterminestheupliftforcesactingasaresultofthesimulatedwindwhentileareattachedtoasectionofroofdeckinaccordancewiththemanufacturer''sinstructions.Naturalwindconditionsdifferwithrespecttointensity,duration,andturbulence;theseconditionsarebeyondthemeansofthistestmethodtosimulate.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaproceduretodeterminetheresistanceofconcreteandclayrooftilestosimulatedwindeffectsinawind-tunnelapparatus.Simulatedwindvelocitiesof70mph(31m/s)to130mph(58m/s)areemployed.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
