【摘要】:ThispartofISO12176specifiesthegeneralcharacteristicsof,andperformancerequirementsfor,equipmentforbuttfusionjointingofpolyethylene(PE)pipingsystemsusingelectricallypoweredheaterplates.Itisapplicabletomechanicalandpressure-activatedequipmentforbuttfusionjointingPEpipesandfittingseitherintendedtobeusedforthesupplyofgaseousfuels,conformingtoISO4437andISO8085-2,orintendedfortheconveyanceofwaterforhumanconsumption(includingrawwaterpriortotreatment)andfortheconveyanceofwaterforgeneralpurposes,conformingtoISO4427-2andISO4427-3.Thenormalambient-temperaturerangeinwhichthebuttfusionmachineisintendedtooperateis-10Mto+40M■Useoutsidethistemperaturerangewillneedtobeagreedbetweentheuserandthesupplierofthemachine.ButtfusionmachineswithanautomaticcontrolleraresubjecttoadditionalrequirementsasgiveninAnnexA.
