【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoversthegeneralrequirementsforVacuumInsulationPanels(VIP).Thesepanelshavebeenusedwhereverhighthermalresistanceisdesiredinconfinedspaceapplications,suchastransportation,equipment,andappliances.1.2Vacuumpanelstypicallyexhibitanedgeeffectduetodifferencesbetweenpanelcoreandpanelbarrierthermalproperties.Thisspecificationappliestocompositepanelswhosecenter-of-panelapparentthermalresistivities(sec.3.2.3)typicallyrangefrom87to870mK/W(12.5to125hrft2F/Btuin)at24176;C(75176;F)mean,andwhoseintendedservicetemperatureboundariesrangefrom-70to480176;C(-94to900176;F).1.3Thespecificationappliestopanelsencompassingevacuatedspacewith:somemeansofpreventingpanelcollapseduetoatmosphericpressure,somemeansofreducingradiationheattransfer,andsomemeansofreducingthemeanfreepathoftheremaininggasmolecules.1.4Limitations1.4.1Thespecificationisintendedforevacuatedplanarcomposites;itdoesnotapplytonon-planarevacuatedself-supportingstructures,suchascontainersorbottleswithevacuatedwalls.1.4.2Thespecificationdescribesthethermalperformanceconsiderationsintheuseoftheseinsulations.Becausethismarketisstilldeveloping,discreteclassesofproductshavenotyetbeendefinedandstandardperformancevaluesarenotyetavailable.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthspecificationsanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecificsafetyconsiderationsseeAnnexA1.
